Paradigm shift in dealing with microbes

Only WITH microbes have we become what we are today. Prevention and treatment of chronic, neurological or neurodegenerative diseases can only succeed if people AND microbes become healthy.

So how can we protect and care for our germs?

For therapists, patients and interested parties to implement the ImmunSymbiosis in everyday life and in therapeutic practice.

My Concept

The treatment of acute illnesses, emergencies and accidents is the strength of conventional medicine – and I am very grateful for that.

When it comes to strategies for curing chronic diseases, conventional medicine also sees its limits…

Definition according to DocCheck Flexikon for physicians:

In contrast to acute illnesses, chronic diseases do not have a definable starting point, but develop slowly and creepingly over a long period of time and can often not be treated causally but only symptomatically.

A causal – cause-related, not symptom-oriented – treatment approach for complex chronic illness is MY  requirement for complementary medicine.
ALWAYS the immune system stands between the causes of the disease and the reactions or symptoms

Emotions and thoughts

Substances from inside and outside

Confrontation with microbes

Therefore, the modulation and thus restoration of the regulatory capacity of the immune system has absolute priority.

But immunotherapy fails if it only considers the human half of the immune system and not only disregards the microbial part, but even fights it.

Immunotherapy succeeds if we support the human AND microbial part of the immune system by regulating and restoring the symbiosis of both parts – the immune symbiosis.

EVERYTHING depends on the reaction of our immune system

Causal context in detail

An excessive immune response, including allergy, means inflammation, over-stimulation, pain, swelling, nerve damage, functional impairment, excessive energy consumption and lack of tolerance.

Insufficient immune responses or anergy mean too high a tolerance, e.g. against cancer cells or toxins.

Immunological homeostasis

Everything depends on the reaction of our immune system. A well-functioning immune system responds to every impulse (emotion, substance or microbes) with a corresponding response impulse, which calms down after a short time and finds a new balance. Our immune system is extremely capable of compensating for countless, massive inputs over the years.

Decompensated immune system

An overburdened or irritated immune system can not regain balance, impulses increase the immune response more and more.

We also see this disorder in the behavior of many of our autistic children. After arousal, joy or frustration, the child can not calm himself down. The reaction gets out of control, even to the uncontrolled beating of the head against the wall in a desperate attempt to stop the over-stimulation of the system.

Typical symptoms that our patients describe every day at the SophiaHealthInstitut in Kaufbeuren

  • fatigue, tiredness
  • no more tolerance (even with food), no more resilience
  • inner restlessness, tension, no phases of recovery
  • diffuse heart symptoms (extrasystoles, palpitation often with panic attacks, cardiologically without findings)
  • cognitive creeping deterioration, memory problems, word finding disorders, difficulty concentrating
  • intestinal inflammation and digestive problems
  • chronic dry cough, constant urge to clear the throat
  • chronic sinusitis
  • sleep problems
  • neck problems
  • headache
  • histamine intolerance, many allergies
  • skin problems
  • chronic bladder and/or prostate problems without apparent inflammation
  • arthritis
  • muscle and fascia inflammation and pain
  • neurological symptoms (tics, pain, inflammation in the nervous system, paraesthesia)
  • frustration, depression, anxiety and panic attacks
  • lack of joy in life

Sources of irritation

What are the impulses our immune system is constantly responding to?

The University of Marburg, Germany reported on May 13, 2019:

A dogma falls – food triggers immune response in the gut

EVERYTHING we see, feel, perceive, eat, breathe, think, smell, experience triggers permanent immune responses that have to be balanced by a healthy countermovement. So our system is constantly seeking balance in a neverendingly changing environment.

We are all aware that the impulses of our time are becoming more numerous and, unfortunately, more hostile to life.

The missing half of the equation

Why do antibiotic, antimicrobial, immunosuppressive or anti-inflammatory therapies fail to lead back to a self-regulation of the immune system?

Because we have only considered the human part of the immune system in immunology so far.

The other half – the microbes – we not only disregarded, but even fought.

The immune system acts in a permanent symbiosis of human and microbial efforts – humans and microbes together organize the world in which they not only survive, but can continue to evolve.

Immune system becomes ImmuneSymbiosis

Immune modulation – modulation of the immune system and restoration of immune symbiosis – becomes THE essential part of the treatment concept.

My observations of findings in our patients and the subsequent search for medical publications confirming these correlations have revealed more and more specific tasks of microbes within the ImmuneSymbiosis.

For example, Staphylococci seem to be involved in the breakdown processes of tubercular abscesses and streptococci seem to play a role both in the suppression of fungal toxins, and in the degradation of cancer cells. But what happens if these bacteria have been reduced and altered by antibiotics, disinfectants, mercury or herbicides?

ImmunSymbisos — Evolution for man and microbes

As early as 2016, while writing the book on Lyme Disease, I realized that with a pure “reduction of microbes” we would not achieve anything, but would only fuel the war that is raging in our patients. After much discussion, we agreed on “reducing the pathogenicity of microbes”.

That’s why the second book was so important to me, and the idea and the name “ImmunSymbiose” came into my mind – and Dr. Klinghardt immediately agreed.

Today, it is more obvious than ever to that ImmuneSymbiosis, the symbiotic interaction between humans and microbes, is the central basis for health, creativity and development.

“Today” means after 3 years of intensive experience as the director of the SophiaHealth Institute in Kaufbeuren, which treats chronically ill patients from both home and abroad, each of them beeing part of a unique learning and research process.

In the treatment of chronic diseases, modulation of the immune system is the decisive step towards restabilizing self-regulation.

The immune system consists of two symbiotic units: the human AND the microbial part – ImmunSymbiosis.

Only in this way does the entire organism succeed in keeping balance between protection and tolerance.

From vision to treatment concept

In order to quickly implement and validate insights and research the cooperation with the company SophiaViva was launched in 2017 . SophiaViva’s laboratory and sales department is able, if necessary, to implement new inputs from the SophiaHealth Institute overnight into the form of new drugs that ideally can be tested with the patient the next day and checked for efficacy.

This resulted in a cooperation that enabled the development of a separate, complementary treatment concept within a short time,

  • for the complex treatment of chronically ill patients
  • whose effectiveness and justification is checked daily in practice
  • which is constantly being developed on the basis of new research and experience
  • which is validated by scientific studies
  • which can be integrated into any therapeutic practice
  • regardless of the remedies that SophiaViva has designed for use in the SophiaHealth Institut Kaufbeuren

All findings and research results and the strategies based on this of the complex, complementary treatment of chronically ill patients, will be passed on transparently in the ImmunSymbiosis seminars and can be immediately integrated into one’s own practice.

Immunosymbiosis evaluates EVERY treatment input for its mode of action on humans AND microbes.

Considering only the human immune system, we miss an essential part of effective regulation.

By restoring ImmunSymbiose of humans and microbes therapy to me restores meaning and joy of complementary medicine.
